Kurz gesagt: NOVURA speichert nur, was die App zum Funktionieren braucht: dein Konto, dein Profil und die Inhalte, die du selbst erstellst. Deine Daten liegen auf Servern in der EU. Es gibt keine Werbe-Netzwerke, kein Tracking und keinen Datenverkauf. Dein Konto löschst du jederzeit in der App selbst.

3. Rechtsgrundlagen

Konto, Profil, Inhalte und Käufe verarbeiten wir, um den Vertrag mit dir zu erfüllen (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO). Standort und Kalender nutzen wir nur mit deiner Einwilligung, die du jederzeit in den iOS-Einstellungen widerrufen kannst (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO). Fehlerberichte und Nutzungsereignisse stützen wir auf unser berechtigtes Interesse an einer funktionierenden App (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO).

4. Dienste, die wir einsetzen

Supabase (Datenbank, Datei-Speicher für Fotos und Anmeldung), Server in Irland, EU.
Apple (Anmeldung mit Apple, App Store, Abos und Zahlungen). Deine Zahlungsdaten sehen wir nie.
Google (Anmeldung mit Google). Wir erhalten nur Name, E-Mail-Adresse und Profilbild.
RevenueCat (Verwaltung der Abos), USA. Erhält deine Konto-Kennung und den Kaufstatus, keine Zahlungsdaten. Übermittlung auf Basis der EU-Standardvertragsklauseln.
Sentry (Fehlerberichte), Server in Deutschland, EU.
Anthropic (KI-Modell hinter Teddy), USA. Für einen Tipp senden wir deine Frage, den Namen deines Ortes und die Liste passender Events. Keinen Namen, keine E-Mail-Adresse, keine Konto-Kennung. Für die automatische Prüfung eines Fotos (Moments und Profilfoto) senden wir nur das Foto, ohne Namen und ohne Konto-Kennung.
Open-Meteo (Wetter). Erhält die Koordinaten deines Ortes, keine weiteren Daten.
Eventfrog und weitere Event-Quellen. Von dort laden wir Veranstaltungsdaten auf unseren Server. Deine Daten gehen dorthin nicht.

5. Was auf deinem Gerät bleibt

Kalendertermine liest die App nur auf deinem iPhone, um belegte Zeiten zu erkennen. Titel und Inhalte deiner Termine verlassen das Gerät nicht. Die Telefonnummer deiner Vertrauensperson für den SOS-Knopf liegt nur im geschützten Speicher deines iPhones. Einstellungen wie der Geist-Modus oder die Willkommenskarte werden lokal gespeichert.

6. Keine Werbung, kein Tracking

NOVURA nutzt keine Werbe-Netzwerke und keine Tracking-Werkzeuge. Partnerplätze in der App sind als „Anzeige" gekennzeichnet und stammen von uns, nicht von Dritten. Wir verkaufen keine Daten.

7. Mitteilungen

Die App sendet derzeit keine Push-Mitteilungen.

8. Speicherdauer und Löschen

Deine Daten bleiben gespeichert, solange dein Konto besteht. Du löschst dein Konto jederzeit in der App unter Profil, „Konto löschen". Damit werden dein Konto und die damit verknüpften Daten entfernt, auch deine Fotos. Fehlerberichte werden nach kurzer Zeit automatisch gelöscht.

Profilfotos prüfen wir ebenfalls automatisch. Ein abgelehntes Foto löschen wir sofort. Ein ersetztes, von dir entferntes oder mit dem Konto gelöschtes Foto löschen wir innerhalb von zwei Stunden, ein nach Meldungen entferntes spätestens 7 Tage nach dem Hochladen.

Geteilte Fotos werden automatisch geprüft und sind 24 Stunden in der App sichtbar, danach löschen wir die Datei. Die Angaben zum Beitrag (Kommentar, Stimmung, Stadt) löschen wir nach 30 Tagen. Abgelehnte oder entfernte Fotos löschen wir sofort aus dem Speicher. Eigene Fotos kannst du jederzeit in der App löschen.

9. Deine Rechte

Du hast das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch. Schreib uns an Teddynewsmail@gmail.com. Du kannst dich außerdem bei der österreichischen Datenschutzbehörde beschweren: dsb.gv.at.

10. Kinder

NOVURA richtet sich an Erwachsene. Es gilt die Altersfreigabe im App Store.

11. Änderungen

Wir passen diese Erklärung an, wenn sich die App ändert. Die aktuelle Fassung findest du immer auf dieser Seite.

In short: NOVURA stores only what the app needs to work: your account, your profile and the content you create yourself. Your data is stored on servers in the EU. There are no ad networks, no tracking and no data selling. You can delete your account in the app at any time.

3. Legal basis

We process account, profile, content and purchases to perform the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We use location and calendar only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in iOS Settings (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Crash reports and usage events are based on our legitimate interest in a working app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Services we use

Supabase (database, file storage for photos and sign-in), servers in Ireland, EU.
Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store, subscriptions and payments). We never see your payment details.
Google (Sign in with Google). We only receive name, email address and profile picture.
RevenueCat (subscription management), USA. Receives your account ID and purchase status, no payment details. Transfer based on the EU standard contractual clauses.
Sentry (crash reports), servers in Germany, EU.
Anthropic (the AI model behind Teddy), USA. For a tip we send your question, the name of your place and the list of matching events. No name, no email address, no account ID. For the automatic check of a photo (Moments and profile photo) we send only the photo, without a name and without an account ID.
Open-Meteo (weather). Receives the coordinates of your place, nothing else.
Eventfrog and other event sources. We load event data from there onto our server. Your data does not go there.

5. What stays on your device

The app reads calendar entries only on your iPhone, to detect busy times. Titles and contents of your appointments never leave the device. The phone number of your trusted contact for the SOS button is kept only in your iPhone's protected storage. Settings such as ghost mode or the welcome card are stored locally.

6. No ads, no tracking

NOVURA uses no ad networks and no tracking tools. Partner slots in the app are labelled "Ad" and come from us, not from third parties. We do not sell data.

7. Notifications

The app currently sends no push notifications.

8. Retention and deletion

Your data is kept as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile, "Delete account". This removes your account and the data linked to it, including your photos. Crash reports are deleted automatically after a short time.

Profile photos are checked automatically as well. A rejected photo is deleted immediately. A replaced photo, one you remove, or one deleted together with your account is deleted within two hours; a photo removed after reports is deleted at the latest 7 days after upload.

Shared photos are checked automatically and stay visible in the app for 24 hours, then we delete the file. The post details (comment, mood, city) are deleted after 30 days. Rejected or removed photos are deleted from storage immediately. You can delete your own photos in the app at any time.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Write to Teddynewsmail@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Austrian data protection authority: dsb.gv.at.

10. Children

NOVURA is intended for adults. The App Store age rating applies.

11. Changes

We update this policy when the app changes. The current version is always available on this page.
